HOME AGAIN

“As you struggled for every breath,

As you recognised me still,

And tried telling me so many things,

Which I couldn’t hear,

But just feel,

I died a thousand death;

Under the open sky,

Through the stars,

And in endless space,

I search still,

For your every breath,

That went away,

Which I couldn’t prevent;

Till today,

When a small bundle,

Lay in my arms,

Looking up at me,

With a gurgling face,

As if telling me,

That you were home again”
